• the DAB Soccer Academy mobile app, and

When you use the App or our website, you may provide:

• Account information – name, email address, password, phone number, city, player age group, and similar profile details.

• Booking and training details – session bookings, membership plans, attendance, training preferences, and notes you or a coach submit.

• Purchase information – order details for apparel or gear (items purchased, size, price, and shipping information).

• Payment card data is processed by third-party payment processors (such as Shopify Payments, Stripe, or PayPal). We do not store your full payment card number on our own servers.

• Communications – messages you send to us by email, contact forms, or in-app support.

• Media you choose to share – if you upload photos or videos, or consent to the use of training footage for analysis or promotional content.

 

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the App, we may automatically collect:

• Device and log information – IP address, device type, operating system version, app version, language, and crash logs.

• Usage information – features you use, screens you view, links you tap, and session timestamps.

• Approximate location – if you allow location permissions, we may use approximate location to suggest nearby training locations or events. We do not track precise GPS location in the background unless clearly disclosed and enabled by you.

Essential service communications (such as booking confirmations or safety alerts) will still be sent when necessary.

• Service providers – with trusted vendors who help us operate the App and Services (for example: hosting providers, payment processors, analytics tools, email or SMS providers, booking platforms). DAB Soccer Academy primarily serves youth and teen athletes, but our App and online services are intended to be used by parents, guardians, or adult players, not by children under 13 on their own.

• We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or provide personal information without verifiable parental consent.

• If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as reasonably possible.

Where data protection laws apply (such as GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases:

Data Storage and Hosting
Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform, and some commerce and payment functions may be powered by Shopify or other service providers. Your data may be stored through these providers’ data storage, databases, and general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall and follow industry standards designed to protect personal information. All direct payment gateways used by our service adhere to PCI-DSS standards, which help ensure the secure handling of payment card information. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it in a secure manner. If we must keep certain data for legal reasons (for example, accounting or safety records), we will store it separately and limit access.

If you create an account in the DAB Soccer Academy App, you may:

• Use the “Delete Account” option available in the App (if implemented), or

• Submit an account deletion request by emailing Admin@dabsocceracademy.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and the email associated with your account.

When we delete an account, we will also delete or anonymize the personal data associated with that account, except for information we are legally required to keep (for example, payment records or safety-related documentation). We will clearly explain what we retain and why if you ask.

 

10. Third-Party Services & SDKs

Our App and website may use third-party services such as:

• analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics),

• payment processors (e.g., Shopify Payments, PayPal),

• booking or scheduling providers,

• push notification services.

These providers may collect certain information directly from your device or browser, under their own privacy policies. We require them to comply with applicable data protection laws and Google Play’s User Data policies. We do not permit SDK providers to sell personal or sensitive user data from our App.

 

11. International Transfers

Our Services are operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer, subject to applicable legal protections.

 

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• post the updated Policy on https://www.dabsocceracademy.com/privacy, and

• update the “Effective date” at the top; and

• where appropriate, show an in-app notice or send an email.
